Losar Celebration

Please join us at Chicago KTC for our annual Losar celebration. According to the Tsurphu calendar, the new year of the Water Dragon begins on Wednesday, February 22. KTC will observe the holiday on Sunday, February 26.
Please bring a vegetarian dish for the afternoon potluck!
Let's start the new year with an auspicious Tara puja and aspirations for harmony in the sangha and peace in the world. Hope to see everyone there!

12 pm Potluck Lunch
Green Tara represents the entire enlightened activities of all Buddhas and hence she is called the mother of the Buddhas of the three times.The Green Tara puja is practiced as a means to remove obstacles to one's path to enlightenment.
